Ingredients

potatoes
chopped

cup
Chopped Carrots
chopped
½
cup
frozen peas

tsp
Cumin seeds
1
tsp
Mustard seeds
1
onion
chopped
1
tsp
ginger garlic paste
1
tomato
chopped
1
green chili
chopped
½
tsp
Turmeric powder
½
tsp
garam masala
a pinch of Asafetida
½
tsp
Salt
½
cup
Water
Oil
as required
leaves
Fresh coriander
(chopped for garnish)
Instructions
Heat oil in a pressure cooker and crackle the mustard and cumin seeds.
Add chopped onion and ginger-garlic paste. Fry for 3-4 minutes.
Add tomato, green chili, salt, turmeric powder and garam masala. Mix well and cook till tomatoes often.
Add potatoes, peas and carrots. Mix well to coat all the vegetables evenly.
Add half a cup of water and pressure cook for two whistles on a medium flame.
Turn the stove off and let the pressure settle down before opening.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
