Fish From The Streets
Fried fish straight from Amritsari streets!

red chili powder

Lemon juice

yogurt
Oil
salt to taste

lemons
cut into wedges

cold water
Instructions
Combine the salt, lime juice, ginger paste, garlic paste and red chili powder together.
Coat the fish with this mixture and allow it to marinade for half an hour.
Combine the gram flour, yogurt, egg, ajwain, salt to taste and water together to make a batter.
Coat the fish pieces in this batter and allow them to sit for 15 minutes.
Heat enough oil for deep frying in a wok and fry the fish until golden.
Serve the fish immediately with the lemon wedges.
