Ingredients
1 500
grams
can of refrigerated flaky biscuit dough
4
apples – peeled
cored and halved)

cup
of sugar

cup
of water
1/2
cup
of melted butter

tsp
of vanilla extract

tsp
of ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C
Coat a 7×11 inch baking pan with butter
Divide the biscuit into 8 equal pieces
Shape and flatten the dough into a circle
Place each apple half on top of the dough and wrap it
Place the apple dough, seam side down, in the pan
Combine sugar, water, melted butter and vanilla in a small bowl
Pour this mixture on top of the dumplings
Sprinkle some cinnamon on top of the dumplings
Bake for 35-40 minutes until the dumplings turn golden in color
Serve hot with a scoop of ice-cream of your choice (optional)
