  1. Soak the rice overnight. Drain the water well.
  2. Once it is completely dry, grind rice into flour.
  3. Make a thin sugar syrup by combining 125 gms of jaggery with water.
  4. Once the required consistency has been achieved, switch off the gas. Whisk in the rice flour, one spoon at a time.
  5. Continue adding and whisking till the mixture thickens into a dough like consistency.
  6. Divide dough into equal parts. Roll each part into a ball and then flatten it.
  7. In a pan, heat mustard oil as required. Place each flattened dough in the oil and deep fry till brown.
