Buckwheat Pancakes Recipe
In Babette’s Feast, one of the dishes on her seven course menu is Blinis Demidoff. The dish consists of buckwheat pancakes with caviar and sour cream, served with champagne. We’ve put together a recipe inspired by it; take a look.

  1. Whisk together the buttermilk egg and melted butter.
  2. In another bowl, mix together the dry ingredients and incorporate into the wet mixture.
  3. Heat a frying pan and pour a quarter of the batter into the pan.
  4. Cook for two minutes and flip and cook for 3 more minutes.
  5. Top with sour cream and serve.
