Carrots meet Beans
Prepare for Onam with this delicious recipe straight from Kerala!

Grated coconut

Green chilies

Turmeric powder

Aof jeera
Salt as per taste

Curry Leaves
coconut oil
Instructions
Mix the coconut, green chilies, garlic, turmeric powder and jeera together using your hands.
Fry the mustard seeds in the coconut oil and then fry the curry leaves and coconut mix.
Sauté for three minutes and then add the beans, carrots and salt.
Add a little water (about one tablespoon), stir well and cook the mixture until the vegetables are thoroughly cooked. This should take five to ten minutes.
While cooking, stir the thoran constantly.
Serve!
