  1. Sear the beef in a little bit of clarified butter or other oil until golden brown.
  2. As the beef cooks, cut your onion, garlic and ginger.
  3. Add the vegetable to the pan once the meat is seared, and cook for 3 to 4, minutes until soft.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the curry spice blend mixture.
  5. Add the 1 can of tomato, broth, and basil to the pan, and return the pan to a low heat setting. Cover the pot and simmer for 45 minutes or until the meat is fork tender.
  6. Once the meat is tender, stir in the yogurt, sour cream or coconut cream, and re-season the beef korma with some salt and pepper.
  7. Serve with basmati rice and pita bread.
