To begin making Besan Halwa Recipe, heat ghee in a kadai and add besan to it and fry it for 5-8 minutes until it starts changing colour and the raw smell vanishes.
When besan has turned light golden brown in colour then add water slowly and keep stirring the besan thoroughly so that it doesn’t form lumps.
Now add sugar and cardamom powder and blend it all together and stir until the water is fully absorbed. Add some more ghee if you think the halwa requires it.
Let it cook till the halwa leaves ghee from the sides of the pan. Once done, transfer the halwa to a bowl and garnish it with chopped dry fruits.
Serve Besan ka Halwa for festivals or even for special occasions as a delicious dessert.
