Cabbage batate nu shaak, it is dry vegetable recipe. Potato is being liked by all and goes very well with cabbage and regular spices. This shaak is best served with hot rotis for lunch or at dinner time.

Ingredients

Instructions
Heat the oil in a broad non-stick and add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds.
When the seeds crackle add the asafoetida, turmeric powder, curry leaves and green chillies and sauté a minute.
Add the cabbage, potato and salt, mix well. Cover and cook on a high flame for 8 to 10 minutes or till the cabbage are tender.
Add the coriander seeds powder, chilli powder and sugar, mix well and cook on a slow flame for more 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring once in between.
Serve hot.
