Fresh strawberries, basil leaves and ground black pepper add a tingly, herbal complexity to a sweet and sour blend of Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold and pineapple. This is a deliciously different drink.
Using a knife and chopping board, roughly chop 4 strawberries into chunks.
Fill a shaker with ice
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
Add Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold, pineapple juice, sugar syrup, lemon juice, chopped strawberries, basil leaves and black pepper.
Using a jigger, measure 50ml Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold, 40ml pineapple juice, 20ml sugar syrup and 20ml lemon juice into the cocktail shaker. Add chopped strawberries, 5 basil leaves and 2 grinds of black pepper.
Shake until cold.
Shake the mixture vigorously in the cocktail shaker until the surface of the shaker feels chilled.
Strain into a tankard over ice.
Strain using a cocktail strainer into a tankard filled with ice cubes.
