Laddu Love

To make sugar syrup

Instructions
To make the sugar syrup
Mix the sugar and water together.
Place this mixture over a stove and allow the water to come to a boil.
Stir in the milk and scrape of whatever rises to the surface.
Allow the syrup to boil until you get it to a one string consistency.
Sauté the cashew nuts, raisins and cloves and allow them to cool.
Sieve the Bengal gram flour and rice flour together.
Add the cooking soda and a little yeast.
Stir in water, until you get a medium thin batter.
Pour batter into a ladle and tip it into a vat of boiling oil.
Repeat until all the boondi is fried.
Place half of the boondi in the sugar syrup, mixing well.
Grind the rest of the boondi into a coarse paste.
Mix this paste with the other half of the boondi and mould into laddus.
Serve and enjoy.
