Chilli fish is prepared by marinating the fish pieces in ginger-garlic pastes, other ingredients and finally deep fried.

For the sauce

Instructions
Cut the fish into cubes.
In a mixing bowl, add corn flour, maida, baking powder, soy sauce, celery, pepper powder, water and salt.
Mix well.
Now, take the fish pieces one by one and dip in to the batter until they are evenly covered.
In a pan, add oil for deep frying.
Fry the fish in the oil until they are golden brown.
Making the sauce
In a pan, add oil.
Once the oil is heated, add garlic, ginger and green chilly.
Saute for about 2 minutes and then add soy sauce, chilli and tomato sauce.
Mix the sauce with the fish and serve in serving tray or plate.
