Ingredients
5
cups
of chicken broth
1
can of cream-style corn
500ml
1/4
cup
of butter
1
stalk of celery
chopped
1
onion
chopped
1 1/2
tbsp
of all-purpose flour
1
tsp
of ground ntumeg

egg
Instructions
Add the chicken broth to a medium sauce pan over medium heat.
Add the can of corn to the chicken broth and let it come to a boil.
After it reaches the boiling stage, reduce heat and let it simmer.
Melt the butter in a frying pan and stir in the onion and celery.
Cook the vegetables for 5 minutes or until it becomes tender
Add the flour and cook for 2 minutes until the raw taste of the flour is reduced
Add the broth mixture to the pan and continue whisking to avoid lumps.
Add the nutmeg and reduce the heat to let the soup simmer
Add egg in a bowl and whisk it thoroughly
Using a fork drop the egg into the simmering soup and separate the egg to form egg strands
Let the egg cook for 2-3 minutes on medium heat
Remove from heat, add black pepper and serve
