Chow down some Chow Chow!
Make a flavour packed curry using this delicious fruit!
Ingredients

large chow chow
peeled and chopped, chayote

moong dal

Sambar powder

turmeric
Salt + as needed

Coconut
grated
1/2

Jeera

tsp
Rice flour
Temper

Oil

sprig Curry leaves
Instructions
Combine the chow chow, sambar powder, turmeric powder and salt in a pressure cooker.
Pour in a cup of water and stir until the powders dissolve.
Pressure cook for three whistles.
While the chow chow cooks, grind the ingredients for grinding together with a little water.
After three whistles, open the pressure cooker and add the paste.
Allow the mixture to come to a boil.
Temper the ingredients in the tempering list and add to the curry.
Stir and allow it to cook for a few more minutes.
Take the curry off the flame and enjoy!
