sabut urad dal

shahi jeera

kasoori meethi

tomato purée

chilli powder

tsp

green chillies
slit lengthwise for garnishing
Instructions
Add water, salt and the ginger to the dal and cook until the cooked.
Heat butter and oil in a pan. Add shahi jeera and kasoori methi to the pan.
Once they splutter add tomato puree, chilli powder, sugar and the rest of the salt.
Sautee over high flame.
Add the dal that has already been cooked and bring to boil.
Leave to simmer until it had been well blended.
Add the cream and serve immediately.
Garnish with green chillies.
