Marzipan Recipe
We’re just about to celebrate Easter; what are your plans? To us, Easter means marzipan. Here’s a recipe to try.

golden caster sugar

icing sugar

ground almonds
Seeds from 1 vanilla pod

eggs
beaten

tsp
orange juice
3
tbsp
apricot jam
Instructions
Combine the sugar, almonds and vanilla seeds together.
Cut in the eggs and orange juice.
Knead into a smooth dough over a floured surface.
Shape into a ball and cool.
Dust a surface with icing sugar and roll the marzipan into a 40 cm circle.
Flip and cover with icing sugar two or three times.
Serve the marzipan atop a cake or refrigerate.
