Fried Artichoke Hearts
In Eat Pray Love, Elizabeth Gilbert heads to Italy to fulfil the ‘Eat’ part of her mission. While she’s there she enjoys pizza, pasta and fried artichokes, which we think sounded delicious. Here’s a recipe for them.

Milk

atichoke hearts
drained and quartered
1 1/2
cups
bread crumbs

cups
Oil
1/4
cup
Parmesan cheese
grated
Instructions
Heat oil for deep frying.
Mix the eggs and ilk together with a whisk.
Dip the artichoke hearts into the eggs and milk mixture and then dip into the breadcrumbs.
Deep fry the hearts for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Place on paper towels.
Sprinkle with the grated cheese and serve.
