Turkey with Sauce Recipe
Turkey in a deliciously rich sauce.

turkey tenderloin

onion
chopped

cloves
garlic
minced

cup
pitted cherries
chopped

cup
cranberry juice
1.4
cup
whiskey

tsp
thyme
chopped

tsp
dry mustard

tsp
corn starch
Instructions
Preheat an oven to 450 F.
Season the turkey with the salt and pepper.
Place two teaspoons of olive oil in an oven proof dish.
Place the seasoned turkey in the dish and roast for three minutes.
Turn over.
Roast for 15-20 minutes.
Heat the remaining oil in a pan and sauté the onions for 2-3 minutes.
Add the garlic and sauté.
Stir in the cherries, half the cranberry juice, whiskey, thyme, mustard and salt.
Cook for four minutes, stirring occasionally.
Whisk the corn-starch into the remaining cranberry juice and pour into the pan.
Stir for 30 seconds.
Remove and pour over the turkey.
Serve.
