Ingredients

dark chocolate
9
ounces
unsalted butter
1 1/2

granulated sugar

eggs

tsp
vanilla extract
1/4
tsp
almond extract
3
tbsp
bourbon or rum
powdered sugar

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Grease a 9-inch spring-form pan and line in with parchment paper.
Grease it again.
Over a double boiler, melt chocolate and butter then remove from the heat and stir.
Add sugar and stir till combined then allow it to cool for a few minutes.
Add eggs one by one, combining one and then adding the other.
Keep stirring after combining the eggs till the mixture is thick and glossy.
Add vanilla extract, almond extract, bourbon or rum and stir that in as well.
Pour the batter in the greased pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
Check the torte as it needs to a little wiggle unlike regular cakes.
Once done, remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
Unmold the torte and dust powdered sugar on top.
