Begin making the chocolate cake by preheating the oven at 350°F and meanwhile grease two round cake moulds.
Stir the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a mixing bowl till combined and add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla and blend using a hand mixture for about two minutes.
Add in boiling water and mix it all up.
Pour the batter in the moulds and bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes and check it with a toothpick.
Once done, cool the cake in the pan for about 10 mins and then remove and cool completely on the wire rack and serve.
You can ice the cake with chocolate icing once it has cooled completely and then refrigerate for half an hour before serving.
