Instructions
Heat oil in a saucepan keeping the flame medium.
Saute the green peppers and the onion till they soften.
Add beef and continue cooking till the meat turns brown.
Powder the bouillon cubes and add to the saucepan.
Now pour the wine and stir.
After cooking for a few more minutes add tomatoes, garlic, and tomato paste.
Stir and add the seasonings: paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, basil, oregano, and parsley. Stir in salt and pepper.
Give a good mix and bring the sauce to a boil on high flame.
Once it starts to boil, turn the flame back to medium, cover and let the stew simmer for one and a half hour while stirring once in a while.
Now add kidney beans and hot pepper sauce.
Continue simmering the stew for half an hour.
At this stage stir flour, corn meal, and water to a thick consistency in a bowl and add to the stew.
Stir well, cook for another ten minutes or till the chili is thick enough to be served.
