Salmon Puffs
In Gilmore Girls after (spoilers ahead), Rory quite Yale she joins the DAR and takes on planning events. At one, she chooses not to serve salmon puffs and Emily never has a fit. Here’s a recipe for those legendary salmon puffs to try at home.

drained salmon

egg

Milk

Lemon juice

dried parsley

tsp
baking powder

tsp
black pepper

Salt
Oil for deep frying
Instructions
Mix the flour, egg, parsley, salt, lemon juice and black pepper together.
Beat the baking power into the milk until frothy.
Add this mixture to the salmon and mix.
Heat oil for deep frying and fry until the puffs brown.
Drain the puffs on the paper towels.
Serve.
