Gujarati Kadhi Recipe
Ingredients

curd

Asafoetida

pinch of
jaggery
– 1 Tbs. salt

Water

clarified butter

tbsp of
Cumin seeds
1/2
tbsp of
Mustard seeds
3 cloves
1/2
tbsp of
chopped Ginger
Curry Leaves

whole red chilly
3
green chillies chopped
3
tbsp of
Gram Flour
Instructions
Take a bowl and mix the curd, gram four, asafoetida, jaggery, salt and water. Mix it well using a whisk.
Heat a pan and pour in the mixture. Keep stirring till the curry thins out.
As the curry thins out, add the seasoning and boil the curry for 5-6 minutes.
For seasoning; Heat clarified butter and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, cloves, ginger, green chillies and the red chilly.
Serve hot.
