Jaggery Roti – A Punjabi delicacy!
Whole wheat flour mixed with milk and jaggery. Smothered with ghee. A Sweet-y wonder.

Ingredients
1.5
cups
whole wheat flour
1
cup
ghee
3
cups
gur – grated
1
cup
Milk
1/8
tsp
baking soda
Salt – to taste ghee for frying
Instructions
Dissolve the gur in half the milk over low heat and cool.
Mix the gur (jaggery) in half of the milk in a pan over low heat. Let it cool
In a bowl add atta, soda and the salt. Mix well.
Add the ghee to the atta and rub the ghee in. Knead into a dough adding the milk solution. If required, add more molk.
Roll the dough in round.
Cook over low heat, spreading ghee all over and around the roti
