beef chuck

Guinness Extra Stout

beef broth

Instructions
Chop the beef into one inch pieces and add sprinkle the salt, pepper and flour.
Coat the beef well and keep aside.
In a heavy pot, fry the bacon and after scooping out the bacon, leave the drippings in the pan.
Brown the beef on all sides and remove it from the pan.
Fry the onions till they develop a light brown colour.
Add all the vegetables and cook for about five minutes.
Now add the Guinness and bring to the boil, scraping the browned bits on the pan.
Keep boiling for two whole minutes and then add the cooked beef and bacon to the pan.
Give it a good stir, bring to a boil and turn the heat on low.
Cover the pot and simmer for about two hours.
You can add more salt and pepper according to taste.
