Hagrid’s Rock Cakes Recipe
Fruit filled rock cakes.
Ingredients

cups
self-rising flour
1
pinch
of Salt
1/2
cup
butter
1/2
cup
granulated sugar
1
cup
mixed dried fruit
1
egg
beaten
2
tbsp
Milk
1/4
cup
fresh orange juice
Instructions
Lightly grease a baking tray.
Combine the flour and salt.
Preheat an oven to 425 F.
Whisk the butter into the flour and salt.
Combine the sugar, dried fruit and orange rind.
Fold the egg into the mixture.
Add the milk and juice to make a stiff dough.
Place lumps of the mixture onto the greased baking tray.
Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden.
Allow to cool and then serve.
