Be my Pumpkin?
Pumpkin pasties inspired from Harry Potter.
Ingredients

eggs
slightly beaten
3/4
cups
sugar

cups
sugar pumpkin
canned or fresh
1/2
tsp
Salt
2
tbsp
melted butter
1/2
tsp
Ginger
1/2
tsp
Cloves
1/2
tsp
Cardamom
1/2
tsp
all spice
1
can evaporated milk
Ready made pastry crust
Instructions
Whisk the eggs and sugar together.
Stir in the pumpkin, salt, butter and spices.
Stir in the evaporated milk.
Once this mixture is well combined, place it in a greased bowl and bake in a preheated oven (425 degrees) for 15 minutes.
Then, reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 45 more minutes.
Take this out of the oven and allow it to cool.
Cut circles out of the pastry crust and spoon the pumpkin into each of the circles.
Fold the circles into crescent moon shapes, sealing the edges by crimping them.
Make small slits on the top of each of the pasties.
Place the patties on a sheet of baking paper on a tray and bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
Take the pasties out of the oven, brush with butter and serve!
