Bilbo’s Apple Tart Recipe
Instructions
  1. Mix the flour and salt together.
  2. Knead the butter into the flour.
  3. Add the cold water, kneading until a dry dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough and use it to line the pie shells.
  5. Add a teaspoon of raspberry jam to each pie shell and spread over the bottom.
  6. Layer the apples over the shell and top with brown sugar.
  7. Bake in an oven preheated at 150C and cook until the pastry browns.
