Pink Doughnuts Recipe

For the glaze

Pink colouring
Instructions
Whisk the flour, sugar, yeast and salt together.
Stir in the milk, water and eggs and gently beat into a batter.
Knead in the butter and continue kneading for five minutes until you get a soft dough.
Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap and leave to stand until it doubles in size.
Roll the dough into a sheet of 1/2 inch thickness.
Cut out doughnuts with a doughnut cutter.
Cover the doughnuts with plastic wrap and let them stand for an hour.
Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan and drop in the doughnuts.
Once they turn golden brown, flip over.
Fry till the other side turns golden brown and then remove to a wire rack to cool.
Meanwhile, whisk together the ingredients for the glaze, adding enough pink colouring to get the colour desired.
Once the doughnuts are cooled, pour the glaze over them and sprinkle the rainbow sprinkles over the glaze.
Allow the glaze to set and serve.
