Ingredients

cups
½whole milk
cup
½heavy cream
2
tbsp
Old Monk
or any other dark rum
9
ounces
bittersweet chocolate
coarsely chopped, 250g
whipped cream
optional
Instructions
In a saucepan, combine the milk, cream and rum and bring to a simmer over moderate heat.
Remove the pan from the heat, add the chocolate and let it melt.
Whisk until smooth and pour into warmed mugs.
Top the hot chocolate with whipped cream.
Serve.
