Jambalyaa Recipe
A delicious Creole dish.
Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Heat a teaspoon of the peanut oil.
  2. Keeping the two proteins separate, toss the sausage and chicken in the Cajun seasoning.
  3. Sauté the sausage in the oil until browned.
  4. Remove with a spoon and set aside.
  5. In the remaining peanut oil sauté the chicken pieces.
  6. Sauté the onion, bell pepper, celery and garlic in the same oil.
  7. Add the red pepper, black pepper, salt, hot pepper sauce, Worsterchire sauce and stir well.
  8. Add the chicken and sausage.
  9. Sauté for ten minutes.
  10. Add the rice and chicken broth.
  11. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
