James And the Giant Peach : Peach Crumble

  1. Heat Oven to 180 degrees Celcius
  2. Mix the peaches along with brown sugar, lemon juice , peel and nutmeg and add to a greased baking dish
  3. Add the sugar to the flour for the crumble and rub the cold butter cubes through it with your fingers to form coarse crumbs. The texture in the end should be like clumpy wet sand.
  4. Add crushed walnuts to the crumble mix , top the peaches with the crumble and bake in the hot oven for 20 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
  5. Serve warm or cold with fresh cream or Vanilla ice cream
