Sweet Kaju Fudge
A delicious kaju barfi; we bet you can’t just have one!
Ingredients

cashews
cup
½sugar
5
tbsp
Water

tbsp
ghee
1
tsp
chopped rose petals or 8 strands of saffron
Instructions
Powder the cashews.
Combine the sugar and water and heat them on a low flame.
After the sugar has dissolved completely, add the cashew powder to the mixture.
Continuously stir the mixture for nine minutes, until it begins to thicken completely.
Once it thickens, remove it from the pan and place it on a plate.
After the mixture cools slightly, knead in the rose petals or saffron.
Then, flatten the dough and place it on a sheet of butter paper.
Put another sheet of butter paper over the dough and then roll out out, using a rolling pin, until it is 3 -5 mm thick.
Remove the butter paper and allow it to cool completely.
Them, cut the dough into square or diamond shapes.
Remove the kaju barfi from the butter paper and serve!
