  1. Wash the pearl millet in cool water. Soak it in a cup of water for 15 minutes
  2. Put the soaked pearl millet in a food processor and pulse until the grains break down
  3. Pour the millet into a pressure cooker, and add one and a half cups of water
  4. Add the salt to the millet and stir
  5. Put the lid on the pressure cooker and cook the millet on a medium flame until the cooker whistles 5 times
  6. Allow the steam to escape from the cooker and then take of the lid
  7. Spoon the choru onto a plate and enjoy it hot!
