  1. Wash the bajra once or twice. Soak it in 1 cup of water for about 15 minutes.
  2. Grind it in the blender so that the grains break down.
  3. Take the broken bajra, remaining 1 ½ cup water and salt in a pressure cooker. Cook for 4-5 whistles. Let the pressure go off naturally. It takes a little longer to cook than rice.
  4. Serve with pickles or curry.
