Onion Poha
This simple, tasty poha is a favorite snack in Maharashtra!
Ingredients

½poha
1
large onion
finely chopped
tsp
¼Turmeric Powder

Mustard seeds

Peanuts

Curry Leaves
1
green chilli
chopped
1
tsp
sugar
1
tbsp
½oil
tsp
½salt
Lemon juice
coriander leaves
for garnish
Instructions
Wash the poha in water, until it becomes soft.
Mix the sugar, salt and turmeric into the poha.
Roast the peanuts in a pan.
Then, heat the oil and fry the mustard seeds.
Add the onions and sauté until they become translucent.
Add the green chilies and curry leaves and sauté them for half a minute.
Add the roasted peanuts and sauté.
Finally, mix in the poha and allow it to steam for three minutes on a low flame, stiring once.
Take the poha of the stove and allow it to cool slightly.
Take the lid of the poha and sprinkle a little lemon juice and the coriander leaves over it.
