Bean and Potato Fry Ups
This simple South Indian recipe makes use of tender beans and delicious potatoes.

yard long beans
cut into 1 inch pieces

potato chopped lengthwise
1/4
tsp
Turmeric powder
1/4

black pepper powder

Water
salt to taste

coconut oil
Instructions
In a kadai, fry the beans and potatoes.
While they’re frying mix in the salt and potatoes.
Add the water to the mix and cover the kadai.
Cook for five minutes on a medium flame.
After five minutes, remove the lid and stir well.
Cover the pan again and cook until the vegetables are done.
Add the pepper powder and then sauté for five more minutes on a low flame.
Serve with steamed rice.
