Mincemeat Curry
A lightly spiced mincemeat and potato curry.
Ingredients

  1. Fry the onions in a little hot oil.
  2. When the onions begin to soften, stir in the mincemeat, garlic and ginger.
  3. Sauté for 5 minutes.
  4. Add all the spice powders and the garam masala and mix well.
  5. Add three tablespoons of water and allow the picture to cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Add the tomatoes and yogurt.
  7. Mix well and allow the curry to cook over medium heat for ten minutes.
  8. Stir the mixture as it cooks.
  9. After ten minutes, add the potatoes.
  10. Pour in a cup of water and mix well.
  11. Cover the curry and cook it for half an hour over a low flame.
  12. After 30 minutes, stir in the chillies and coriander leaves and then serve.
