Ingredients

vegetable oil

finely chopped onion

cubed boneless lamb

tomato paste

minced garlic

dill seed

to taste
black pepper
to taste

brown rice

chopped red bell pepper
Instructions
Rinse and soak the moong in warm water for half an hour.
Heat the oil in a pan and saute the onion till it develops a translucent appearance.
Now add the meat along with the tomato paste and garlic.
Mix it well and cook till the meat gets a brown colour.
Now add the mung beans along with some water, dill seeds, salt, black pepper and stir well.
Once the mixture boils, turn the flame to low, cover the pan and let the meat simmer for 45 minutes.
Adjust the water and add the rice along with the bell pepper and cover the pan once again.
Now simmer the meat along with the rice for another 20 minutes till done.
