Oh, Honey

heavy whipping cream
For the frosting

cup
confectioners’ sugar
1/2
stick unsalted butter
1
tsp
vanilla extract
1
tbsp
honey
1
tbsp
whipping cream
1/4
cup
walnuts
chopped and toasted
Instructions
Preheat an oven to 325 F.
Beat the eggs and whisk in the honey and vanilla.
In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Mix half this mixture into the eggs, honey and vanilla mix.
Stir in the heavy cream.
Stir in the remaining dry flour mixture.
Grease a 8-9 inch cake pan and pour the batter into the pan.
Bake the cake for 30-40 minutes.
Allow the cake to cool.
For the frosting
Whisk together the butter and sugar.
Stir in the vanilla, honey and whipping cream and mix well.
Stir in the walnuts and spread the frosting over the cake after it cools.
Serve and enjoy!
