Stir Up Some Mangoes!
This delicious mango curry tastes heavenly with a bed of steamed rice.
Ingredients

raw mangoes
peeled and chopped

gms thur dal
1 1/2
tbsp
sambar podi

Salt

tsp
sugar
1
tsp
mustard
1/4
tsp
fenugreek
2
Green chilies
1
tsp
gingelly oil
1
pinch
Hing

Instructions
Cook the thur dal and keep aside.
Cook the mangoes in three cups of water on a medium flame.
After a minute, add the salt and sambar podi and stir.
Cook the mango mixture for ten minutes.
Stir in the cooked thur dal.
Add the sugar and mix.
In another pan, fry the mustard, hing, green chilies and fenugreek in the gingelly oil for a minute.
Add this fry up to the mango mixture.
Roast the curry leaves in a pan.
Cook the maanga paruppu for another five to ten minutes until it becomes thick in consistency.
Take the paruppu of the stove and add the roasted curry leaves.
Serve!
