fish
Salt
to taste
For the batter
1
gram
cupflour
2
tsp
garam masala
2
tsp
Cumin powder
1
tsp
red chilli powder
salt to taste
1
tsp
Turmeric powder
Water
Lemon juice to taste
Oil
for deep frying
Instructions
For the batter
Add gram flour, cumin powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, salt, turmeric and very little water to a bowl. Mix well
The batter should be paste-like and of coating consistency.
For the main preparation
Clean the fish and cut into pieces.
Add salt to the fish and let the fish marinate in salt for 3 hours.
Wash the salt off the fish and add the prepared batter to the fish.
Let the fish marinate for 45 minds.
Deep fry the fish in oil.
Once fried, remove fish from oil and place in plate with tissue to drain the oil.
Garnish with garam masala and lemon. Serve hot.
