Ingredients
2
cups
all purpose flour
maida
cup
¾butter/ghee
1
tsp
chily powder
1
Ginger
1
tsp
Cumin seeds
2
dry red chilies
tsp
½baking soda
2
tsp
sugar
pinch
aof Asafetida
A handful of curry leaves
salt to taste
Instructions
Mix all the above ingredients together in a bowl to get a soft. Add a little curd if the dough is not moist enough.
Grease an aluminum foil and roll out the dough into a big circle, approximately 1″ thick.
Using a cookie cutter, cut out into desired shapes.
Place on a greased baking dish and bake for 15 – 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 325 degrees F.
Cool and store in airtight containers.
Enjoy with tea.
