Masala Idli Recipe

Ingredients
5-6
regular medium sized idlis
cup
⅓finely chopped onion
cup
½finely chopped tomatoes

green chili
chopped
teaspoon
½ginger garlic paste

Turmeric powder

¼red chili powder
teaspoon
½pav bhaji masala
teaspoon
¼Cumin Seeds

¼water (optional
if idlis are refrigerated)

chopped coriander leaves
Instructions
Cut the idlis into bite-sized pieces and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan and crackle the cumin seeds.
Add ½ teaspoon ginger-garlic paste and sauté till the raw aroma goes away.
Now add the onions and sauté till the onions turn translucent or a light brown.
Now add finely chopped tomatoes and green chili and sauté till the tomatoes soften.
Then add a pinch of turmeric powder, red chili powder, pav bhaji masala, and salt to taste. Mix well.
Add water and simmer till the gravy thickens, about 2 minutes.
Now add the chopped idlis. Mix well.
Switch off the flame and finally add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
Serve hot.
