McDonald’s Style Fries Recipe
Delicious golden fries.
Ingredients

russet potatoes
1/4
cup
corn syrup
1 1/2
cups
Water
6
cups
peanut oil
1/4
cup
peanut oil
1/4
cup
beef lard
or vegetable shortening
2
tbsp
Salt
Instructions
Peel the potatoes and julienne into four by six inch long strips.
Combine the corn syrup and water and soak the strips in this mixture.
Head the peanut oil in a deep fryer.
Take the fries out of the solution and pat dry.
Partially fry them for 1 1/2 minutes.
Take out of the fryer and drain on a paper tow.
Refrigerate for twenty minutes.
Add the lard to the remaining peanut oil ad golden fry the frozen fries for 5-7 minutes.
Drain on a paper towel and then toss with salt.
Serve and enjoy.
