Instructions
Put all the ingredients aside from the tempering ingredients and the salt inside a pressure cooker.
Cook until the dal is soft.
Allow the steam to release from the pressure cooker.
Remove the lid and stir the dal.
Keep aside.
Heat the ghee and fry the cumin seeds. Then add the garlic and green chili and fry for a few seconds.
Switch off the flame, and stir in the spice powders.
Then, pour the mixture into the dal and stir well.
Serve the dal hot!
