Ingredients

Sabudana

potatoes

roasted peanuts

Curry Leaves

grated ginger

chopped green chilli

Cumin seeds

Grated coconut

tsp
sugar

tsp
Lemon juice

tbsp
ghee
rock salt
to taste
Instructions
Soak the sabudana overnight.
Drain the next morning and keep aside.
Boil the potatoes and remove the skin.
Crush the roasted peanuts coarsely and add to the sabudana with salt and sugar.
Heat ghee in a medium sized pan and add cumin.
Once the seeds crackle, add the curry leaves, green chillies and ginger.
Cook for half a minute and add the chopped potatoes and cook for two minutes.
Add the sabudana mixture and stir constantly.
Once the sabudana loose their colour add the coconut and turn off the heat.
Put the khichdi into serving bowls and drizzle lemon juice over each one.
