Turning Apples
That tempting apple turnover from Once Upon A Time.
Ingredients

Lemon juice

Water

apples
peeled, cored and slices

butter

cup
brown sugar

tsp
ground cinnamon

tbsp
corn starch
1
tbsp
Water

package puff pastry sheets
1
cup
castor sugar
1
tbsp
Milk
1
tsp
vanilla extract
Instructions
Mix together the lemon juice and the water and soak the apples in this mixture.
After 5 minutes, drain the apples and cook them in hot butter for two minutes.
Stir in the brown sugar and cinnamon and cook for another 2 minutes.
Mix the corn-starch with a tablespoon of water.
Add this mixture to the apples and stir well.
Cook for another minute and take off the heat.
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
Cut the pastry sheets into squares.
Spoon the apple mixture into the middle of each square and fold them over into a triangle shape.
Bake the turnovers for 25 minutes until the puff.
Combine the castor sugar, milk and vanilla.
Once the turnovers cool, glaze the turnovers with this mixture.
Serve!
