Ingredients
cup
½wheat flour
1
tbsp
Rice flour
1
tbsp
semolina
rava
2
tbsp
sugar
pinch
abaking soda
cup
¼Water
1
tsp
ghee
pinch
Aof salt
oil for frying
Instructions
In a mixing bowl add the wheat flour, rava, rice flour, salt, and sugar. Mix well.
Add the ghee to the mixture and mix well.
Finally, add water and mix well to make a soft dough.
Divide the dough into 10 lemon sized balls.
Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan or kadai and deep-fry the varkey in batched.
Remove using a slotted spoon. Drain excess oil on a paper towel.
Serve with tea.
