Ingredients
150
grams
of green chilies
chopped
1/2
cup
gingelly oil
2
tbsp
urad dal
1
tbsp
tamarind paste
2
tbsp
jaggery
1
tsp
Mustard seeds
1
tsp
Hing
salt to taste
Instructions
Heat a tablespoon of the oil and fry the urad dal until golden pan.
Remove the dal and in the same pan fry the green chilies for three minutes.
Grind the chilies with the salt, hing and tamarind.
Add the dal to the mixture and grind again.
Fry the mustard seeds and jaggery for a minute in the remaining oil.
Then, sauté the green chilly mixture for three minutes.
Remove the mixture from the heat, allow it to cool and store in a dry bottle.
